A tender return to the easel, Newborn marks Monica Rempel’s first artwork after years away from creating. Rendered in soft pastels, this intimate close-up captures the gentle spirit of a black-and-white kitten with soulful dark eyes, delicate whiskers, and a sweet pink nose. The expressive, textured strokes convey warmth, vulnerability, and quiet affection. This piece beautifully reflects Monica’s journey as a full-time mom stepping back into her passion for art, inviting collectors to own a personal milestone from her creative rebirth.
