Edition 7 of 10. HVI 1 — The Vision. Before a single line of code, HVI existed as a complete concept — a machine you could stand inside. Every role, every flow, every credential visible in the mind's eye. No language to build it with yet. Just the certainty that it needed to exist. HVI 2 — The Reverse Engineering (humanityvsinsanity.tech). Building backwards. Learning the language while constructing the machine. Features were discovered, wired in, and made to work — excavation, not architecture. Everything functioned, but the process taught a hard lesson: working code is not the same as proper code. HVI 2 was the education. HVI 3 — The Playbook Era (hvi3.com). Built forward. A written architectural playbook. Agents and personas that live inside the codebase and know nothing but HVI — architecture, finance, compliance, brand, development, the full company in code. Everything learned in HVI 2 fed back into design. HVI 3 is the shift from platform to infrastructure — from "come use our product" to "build your business on our rails." The First 10. Before the 275, before any of it went wide, there were ten. This piece carries the same three-act story above, but it also carries something the wider collection doesn't: hand-drawn art, dedicated to me. Adrian Corrales — an internet friend, a retired Army veteran, a digital artist — became my closest collaborator on this project.
