XNODE starts simple: a community-driven token on the XRPL designed to encourage more independent validators and node operators. The long-term aim is to grow into a full DAO that can design and govern a protocol where node providers earn XNODE tokens for contributing to network security. Currently there are no incentives or rewards that get distributed to node operators on the XRPL, XNODE wants to change that with a view to improving the network as a whole.
