Historical: Segment 1
Name from the NFTs' own metadata
‘Historical’ is a raw, unfiltered declaration of hip-hop supremacy in an era drowning in dilution. This hip-hop/rap track hits with relentless energy—hard-hitting delivery, razor-sharp cadence, and bars spit at breakneck speed. No auto-tune crutches, no mumbled hooks, no watered-down production tricks. Just pure, unapologetic lyricism riding a gritty, boom-bap-infused beat that echoes the golden era while pushing forward with modern aggression. The song serves as a direct challenge to the current landscape of mainstream rap: the repetitive, substance-lacking “junk rap” that prioritizes viral trends, simplistic flows, and empty flexing over meaningful content. In contrast, ‘Historical’ celebrates the art form’s roots—complex rhyme schemes, multis, internal rhymes, storytelling prowess, and battle-ready wordplay—while boldly claiming space for a revival. It’s about elevating the culture back to where it belongs: skillful, conscious, and commanding respect through sheer technical mastery and authenticity.
